Son of William and Mary Dalton; husband of Gertrude A. Dalton of Cumberland Avenue, Clarence Park, Adelaide, South Australia. 

HIS MEMORY WILL LIVE FOREVER IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE THAT LOVED HIM

Private CHARLES DALTON, D Company, 39th Battalion, late of/43rd Battalion, husband of Mrs. G. A. Dalton, Clarence Park, late of Hindmarsh, was killed In action in France on October 12. He was previously employed by Foster & Co., Hindmarsh, and he enlisted In July, 1916. He sailed on August 18, and after being wounded had only just returned to France when he made the supreme sacrifice. He was born in Manchester, England, and he had many friends.
