24 Feb 1916: Transferred AIF WW1, Private, 7th Infantry Battalion, Allotted to and proceeded to join 7th Infantry Battalion at Serapeum, Egypt.
26 Mar 1916: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 2850, 7th Infantry Battalion, Embarked from Alexandria, Egypt on 26th March 1916, disembarking Marseilles, France on 31st march 1916 to join British Expeditionary Force in France.

Son of George and Mary Sophia (nee Lyons) HIBBERT of Sorrento, Victoria.  George Hibbert was the proprietor of the Lemonade Factory in Sorrento.
