GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS
During the week the sad news of the death of two Day Dawn lads being killed in action reached the parents at Day Dawn. Father Irwin conveyed the sad intelligence from the Defence Department to Mr. and Mrs. Rebbeci of their son's death, which took place on April 6th in France. Private L. P. Rebbechi, who was in the Dawn Post Office prior to enlisting, was well-known and much respected by all with whom he came in contact and was best know by the name of Jock by his many friends.
