Husband of Nellie Eileen High nee Allan of Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, Victoria. Alfred and Nellie married during 1914c in Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 20 June 1919 aboard HS Konig Friedrich August as nursing staff disembarking on 6 August 1919

In 1943 he was employed at the Explosives Factory, Maribyrnong, Victoria. At the time he was residing in Princes Street, Carlton, Victoria
