Ernest Lancelot ANDREWS was born on 19th December, 1876 in Pancras, London

His parents were John Marshall ANDREWS and Lucy Anne NASH who married in England in 1867

Ernest served in WW1 with the Australian Army and was discharged from the AIF on 20th August, 1915 in London, UK - 

He received a commission in the British Navy on the 21st August, 1915 as a Second Lieutenant (Royal Marines)

He was promoted to Captain in the Royal Marines, British Navy on 22nd February, 1916 (1st Royal Marine Battalion)

Ernest was Killed in Action on the 25th August, 1918
