Biography contributed by Barker Gary

F.H. Stephenson was a well respected businessman and member of the King Island community. His Service Record indicates that he donated an ambulance to the AIF, on enlistment in Tasmania. The Army transported the motor vehicle to the mainland and then England, with Stephenson assigned as its driver.
