Commenced return to Australia on 9 February 1919 aboard HT Ascanius on 26 March 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney

Medals: 1914-15 Sta, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On returning to Australia he married Effie Beattie in 1919c at St. Leonards, NSW
