22 Aug 1916:	Embarked Private, 6048, 1st Infantry Battalion, HMAT Wiltshire, Sydney
29 Oct 1917:	Involvement AIF WW1, Private, 6048, 1st Infantry Battalion, Private was charged with desertion 29/10/1917. Was found guilty and sentenced for 5 years imprisonment, that was then converted to 2 years 21/11/1917. Sentence was then suspended with the Private rejoining his unit 17/02/1918
15 Nov 1917:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 6048, 1st Infantry Battalion, Embarked on H.S Stad ANTW ERPNN for England - Gunshot wound right shoulder
18 Apr 1918:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 6048, 21st Infantry Battalion, Wounded in action (3rd occasion) in France. Sent to hospital, England for shell concussion and then returned to Australia for discharge
