Next of kin given as his brother Bartholomew Michael Coffey of Comet Vale, WA. Also brother of Francis Coffey, Hannah Coffey, Mary Coffey, James Coffey and Michael Coffey
Commenced return to Australia on 14 January 1917 aboard HT Kanowna but failed to re-embark at Durdan he the continued aboard HT Nestor to Sydney were he disembarked before boarding SS Dimboola to Perth, WA
