Brother of Austin Hogg who returned to Australia on 27 January 1919 having served with the 2nd Australian General Hospital and 14th Field Artillery Brigade and Lance Austin Hogg who returned to Australia on 10 May 1919 having served with the 2 Divisional Ammunition Column

Commenced return to Australia on 31 January 1918 aboard HT Osterly disembarking on 13 April 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
