Son of Arthur George Foster of Needilup, WA. Brother of Frederick Bernard Foster who was killed in action at Gallipoli on 2 May 1915 and has no known grave. His name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 53. Also brother of Edward Percy Foster
