His father was Thomas Wilson of New Street, Bakewell.
Bakewell is a small market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, well known for the local confections Bakewell pudding and Bakewell Tart. It is located on the River Wye, about thirteen miles southwest of Sheffield.
[The Roll of Honour web site records him as Frank G Wilson and as a Regimental Sergeant Major, 13th Battalion, A.I.F. who died 11th April 1916 in France.
He had been temporarily promoted to Sergeant as an instructor-he did die in France but on 15th April 1917.]
