Biography

Son of Thomas George and Ester Jane TURNER, corner Charles and Augusta Street, Leichhardt, NSW

Richard saw service in Egypt, France - Pozieres, Somme, Bapaume, Flanders - Belgium - Bullecourt.  He was wounded on 9th May 1917 and invalided to hospital in Surrey, Middlesex England and discharged as medically unfit 13 March 1917.
