Son of Neville and Marie DOWLING, Ashford, Sydney Street, Willoughby, New South Wales

Mr. and Mrs Neville Dowling, of Ashford Sydney-street, Willoughby, have been advised that their youngest son, Second-Lieutenant  Eric S. Dowling, had (died from wounds in Palestine. He was the grandson of the late Judge Dowling, and was in his 22nd year.
He enlisted on the outbreak of the war in  August, 1914, and owing to the absence of reinforcements was unable to obtain the furlough.
