Arrived in Australia aged 25 years
Son fo Mrs. Jane Passmore of Barnstaple, Devonshire, UK
Eye witness stated that Arthur and another soldier were in a trench at 1.30am when a shell fell in on top of them burying both. Attempts made to dig them out failed to find Arthur's body
