Clarence Archibald served in the Lighthorse Regiment in WW1. He served as Archibald Sullivan and his grandfather D Sullivan of Newstead was given as his next of kin. His service number was 2215.

Clarence was known as Archie.  He was  a Policeman and played 9 games of Football for St. Kilda.  He was also a cycling coach.

Brother of 4937 Lce.-Cpl. Albert Frederick John Sullivan (/explore/people/301162) who was killed in action in France on 07 Jul 1918
