Son of Henry George Van Homrigh and Harriet Sophia Barry Van Homrigh nee Hollingworth of Cornwall Street, Greenslopes, QLD. Brother of Edwin William Hollingworth Van Homrigh who returned to Australia on 31 July 1918 having served with the 5th Motor Transport Company

Commenced return to Australia on 12 April 1919 aboard HT Suffolk disembarking on 5 June 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane

Medal: British War Medal

On 17 November 1924 Arthur married Jessie Melrose Galbraith in QLD. Jessie died in QLD during 1930
