Born at Denman, New South Wales on the 4th November 1887 to Henry and Maria Nagle nee Brind; husband of Florence Mary Nagle nee Lee (married 10.4.1918 at St Philip's Church of England, Battersea, London, England, died 1932), Harry enlisted June 1915 at Liverpool, N.S.W.

Suffering from trench fever 9.6.1917, and carbuncles 2.11.1918, Harry returned home February 1920 with his wife.

Unfortunately, his name has not been inscribed on the Muswellbrook War Memorial or the Denman War Memorial and Remembrance Park or any known War Memorial or Roll of Honour.

Mr Nagle collapsed and died during the Anzac Day March 1938.

There is no headstone at Mr Nagle’s final resting place, so I have placed a cross adorned with poppies on the gravesite, taken a photo of the grave and uploaded the photo onto the Northern Cemetery website as a permanent record of his service.

Younger brothers Ernest John (Reg No-2685, 4th Battalion, born 1890, died 1955) and William Alfred (Reg No-2852, 34th Battalion, born 1898, died 1966) also served 1st A.I.F.

Thanks to Mr Nagle's second Great Grand Nephew Johnnie Stephen Walker for the notification and family history.
Lest We Forget.
