The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 93 +268. Prior to the war he was a medical student of Launceston Tas. He enlisted 1st Dec 1915 aged 25 years. He served with the 40th Infantry Battalion, and rose through the ranks to the rank of Lieutenant. He survived the war, departing the UK for home 27th May 1919.
