WATSON--On April 11, 1917, killed in action in France. Private William. H. Watson, 16th Battalion dearly beloved twin son of Mrs.L. Watson, late of Yallingup, via Busselton, brother of Mrs H.W. Jones, Mrs. H. McNally, Mrs. T. J. Matthews, Mrs. S Veal, Mrs. Lister Gilbert. Ernest C. and twin brother of Frank H (on active service, aged 18 years and 11 months. For humanity and his country he gave up his up his young life. Inserted by his sorrowing mother, sisters and brothers.

Son of Louisa Adelaide Watson of Caves House, Yallingup. WA
His service record states that he was sleeping in a dugout at a railway cutting towards Reinscourt but in front of the Hindenberg Line, when a shell burst buried him and 2 other men and they were killed
