OBITUARY - Trove

Sergeant-Major Cusack, who was born at the border of NSW and Queensland, was about 29 years of age

While in Dalby, Sergeant Major Cusack was presented by the townspeople with a gold medal suitably inscribed, for an act of bravery during a large outbreak of fire in that town

While on final leave from Enoggera, he was the recipient of a handsome wristlet watch and other tokens of esteem from the Dalby Citizens

His name is memorialised on the Australia War Memorial & the Dalby Roll of Honour
