Before the War
Alfred Wallis Bedingfield was born in Bombala in 1892 to Herbert and Eliza Bedingfield. Here he undertook his schooling before becoming a bread carter prior to his enlistment. Alfred was the younger brother of Sidney King Bedingfield, who also served and was killed in action.
After the War
Alfred returned to Australia on the 20th May 1919. He remained in Australia after this time, although it is not known what profession he returned to.
Alfred passed away in 1939at Rozelle, NSW, aged 48 years.
