Son of Amos Uglow and Blanche Uglow nee Remfry of Jenkins Street, Northcote, Victoria. Brother of Ulvah Henry Uglow who was killed in action on 8 August 1918 whiel serving with the 57th Battalion and is buried in the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemtery. Plot X111, Row D, Grave 10.
