Family

He was born in Brockley Kent in England in 1890.

Prior to the war he was a farmer on a property called Dorset Downs near Cranbrook on the Franklin River.

In 1909 he married to Augusta May nee Beviss in Western Australia and they had two children. Norman W born 1911 in Cranbrook and Margaret D born 1912 Cranbrook.

He was part of the 11th reinforcements and was in A Squadron.
