2640 Pte. George Samuel Smith, 14th Battalion A.I.F. the last of the 5 lads of 'Jacka's Mob' resting here in Brookwood Military Cemetery, Woking, UK.

George received a GSW to his shoulder in the attack a Morcourt, France on the 9th August 1918 with the bullet penetrating his spine, he passed away at Whipps Cross Hospital, London, on the 5th September 1918
