From Frank Mahieu

Passing through 'Le Nord' again, visiting again several cemeteries, I paid tribute today to Private Robert Collin (Colin) GRAHAM, K.I.A. 7 August 1916, aged 22, serving with 56th Bn. Australian Infantry, son of Duncan and Jane Graham, of Beechwood, New South Wales.

I did this modest act of remembrance united with his relative, my contact Nikolas Martin (Cundletown, New South Wales, Australia).
Private Robert Graham, while being in billets in the church of Fleurbaix, was hit by a H.E. shell that hit the church. A splinter of wood hit his heart and this poor soldier so bled to death outsuide the church on the street. The Germans had been observing soldiers coming and going to the convent and church and so shelled it.
LEST WE FORGET.
