Louden Park COCHRANE was born in County Down, Ireland in 1893
His parents were John Wilcott COCHRANE & Margaret PARK - his father was born in North Berwick, Scotland & his mother in Rathfriland, Ireland and they immigrated to Baltimore, USA and later came to Western Australia in 1908
Louden enlisted in Blackboy Hill, Western AUstralia on 26th April, 1916 and embarked with the 10th Light Horse Regiment, 22nd Reinforcements on 4th November, 1916 from Adelaide on the HMAT Bakara
He was Killed in Action in Palestine on 8th November, 1917 - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial, the Jerusalem Memorial & the Roll of Honour in Perth WA
