The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 149 + 269. Prior to the war he was a cab driver of Lismore NSW. He enlisted 22nd Oct 1914, aged 20 years. He served with the 4th Infantry Battalion, earning a Military Medal for his activities. He survived the war, departed the UK for home 8th Jan 1919.
