Served as Albert Hayes but father stated his true names was Cyril Hayes and wrote to Base Records on 22 March 1918 that he was infact under age and he had run away from home and had not had his father's permission to enlist. His sister, Annie whom he had list as his next of kin was in fact only fourteen years of age.
