He was 24 and the son of the late Robert and Jane Elliott; of 4, Dovemount Place, Hawick, Scotland.
He is remembered on the Hawick Municipal Roll of Honour at Wilton Lodge Public Park, Hawick, Scotland.

Archibald Patterson ELLIOTT was born in Wilson, Hawick, Scotland in 1893
His parents were Robert & Jane ELLIOTT
He enlisted in Bundaberg, Queensland on 5th March, 1915 and embarked with the 9th Infantry Battalion, 6th reinforcements on 12th June, 1915 on the HMAT Karoola
Archibald was Killed in Action in Belgium on 22nd December, 1917

His brother John Stewart ELLIOTT ( SN 89) also served in WW1 in the 25th Infantry Battalion and returned to Australia in 1919
