Clive Moulden De MOLE was born on 8th May, 1886 in Kew, Victoria
His parents were William De MOLE and Emily MOULDEN
He first enlisted on 21st August, 1914 in Helena Vale WA with 11 Infantry Batalion which left Fremantle, WA on 2nd Nov. 1914 on HMAT Ascanius. His service No. was 2518
He was wounded in action receiving a gunshot wound & a fracture to his left arm in the Dardanelles on 28th June 1915. He was invalided back to Australia in March 1916. He then joined the 43 Infantry Battalion and left Fremantle on 9th November, 1916 on the ship HMAT Argyllshire. His service No. was changed to 216 He was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant on 1st Jan. 1919 & Lieutenant on 1st April, 1919. He was discharged from the AIF in the United Kingdom in September, 1919
Whilst on a trip back to Australia he married Ida Constance HARRISON in 1920 in Sydney NSW
Clive died on March 17th, 1934 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England & is buried in Jesmond Old Cemetery, Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife Ida who died in Northumberland on 31st October 1967
