Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

CORPORAL NORMAN H. FRAZER
According to an official notification received by his sister, Mrs. P. J. Evennett, Corporal Norman H. Frazer has been reported missing at the Dardanelles between August 7 and 12. A native of Geelong, Victoria, Corporal Frazer, who was 41, was prior to enlisting, employed by Messrs John Sands Ltd., as commercail traveller. He left for Egypt on April 13 with the Fifth Reinforcements, 3rd Battalion and soon after arrival was sent to the front. In a letter written on July 22 he described himself as being in the best of health and spirits. Apparently he took part with his brigade in the fierce fighting at Lonesome Pine Ridge during the period when he has been reported missing.
