Brother of Clarance Colin Alexander Cooper, Myrtle Georgina Maud Cooper, Florence Eva May Cooper, Ernest Arthur James Cooper and Edwin Albert Henry Cooper who returned to Australia on 14 January 1919 having served with the 39th Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 8 January 1919 aboard HT Orsova disembarking on 18 February 1919
