Henry Tracey RICHARDSON was born in Williamstown in 1881 and gave his occupation as Master Mariner when he joined the AIF on 22/8/1914.
His next of kin was his father, Henry F Richardson of Malvern Road, Toorak.
He left Melbourne aboard HMAT Shropshire on 20/10/1914 as part of the Artillery.
He served on Gallipoli. On 16/8/1915 he was appointed 2nd Lieut, Lieut on 8/12/1915 and Captain on 2/7/1917.
Henry returned to Australia on 2/12/1918 and his appointment was terminated on 31/1/1919.
He joined the AN & MEF Rabaul on 29/9/1920 with the rank of Lieut and on 9/5/1921 transferred to the Civil administration as Harbourmaster of Rabaul.
