6 Oct 1918: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 4288, 6th Light Trench Mortar Battery, Montbrehain, SW right thigh and left leg. Evacuated to 58th CCS at Tincourt, however died of wounds the same day.

"...4288 Private Percival Herman Pieper, 6th Battalion, of Toolleen, Vic. Pte Pieper enlisted on 12 July 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Demosthenes on 29 December 1915.
