On enlistment he gave his age as 42 years this would mean he was born in 1873c however his birth was registered in 1869 in the  area of Bombala, NSW

Son of Henry Clement Hogarth and Elizabeth C. Hogarth

Husband of Alice Emma Hogarth nee Wall of 25 Willoughby Street, North Sydney, NSW. George and Alice married in 1891c in the District of Crookwell, NSW. Father of Cecily Doreen Hogarth and Jack Claremont Hogarth
