    Advice has reached Mrs. Michael Walsh, Cairns, that. Lt. "Doodie" MacDonnell, son of Dr. Lucius G. MacDonnell, Military hospital, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, has been killed in action. Mrs. Walsh's sister Kathleen is married to Dr. E. MacDonnell, New Norfolk, Tasmania, a brother of Dr. Lucius MacDonnell." - from the Cairns Post 18 July 1918 (nla.gov.au)
