"...7846 Pte Benjamin Dallow... of the 9th Battalion. Pte Dallow a well sinker from Woodend, Queensland prior to enlistment, embarked with the 26th Reinforcements from Sydney on HMAT Euripides on 31 October 1917... Pte Dallow who had previously been rejected for service on medical grounds, served in England before returning to Australia on 11 December 1918..." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
