"...600 Private William Henry Brown, 24th Battalion, of Hay, NSW. Pte Brown enlisted on 20 March 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. During the voyage he contracted pneumonia and died of heart failure on 25 May 1915 at Colombo in Ceylon." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
