Son of Charles William SAXON and Annie nee WENNEBORN of Bordertown, SA
It is our painful duty to have to record the death of Pte. N. D. Saxon, whilst in action in France.
Mr and MrsC. W. Saxon, of Bordertown, received the news on Wednesday morning and we are sure the sympathy of the whole district will go out to them in their sad loss. The deceased soldier was one of the best known men in the Tatiara. He was always to the fore in the show rings with horse riding. He enlisted about two years ago in the remount unit after having been rejected for unfitness for the infantry. After serving in Egypt in this capacity he was transfered to the active forces and there remained until his death.
