OBITUARY
The death occurred last night of Mr. Percy Piddick, son of Mr. J. Piddick, senr. The deceased, who was 34 years of age, and been ailing for some time. He had served four and a half years at the front, and had returned affected by gassing. The demise was, in a large measure, attributed to that cause. He is survived by his wife and one child. His wife is a daughter of Mr. Bill King, of Cessnock. The funeral will leave his late residence, Cumberland Street, tomorrow, at 3 o'clock, for the Cessnock cemetery.
