Oliver Reid was the 10th child born of 13 to John Ferme Reid and Elizabeth Reid. Unfortunately his youngest sibling Alice Reid died as a baby. Oliver was a twin to his sister Minnie. One of Oliver's other siblings Maurice Leslie Reid was also in the war, however he died during the battles of Formelles in France and he now stays at rest in France. Oliver was married to Miss Beatrice Longmire and they had two children Trevor and Gwen Reid.
