Son of Alfred ROGERS and Susan ROGERS nee HYMES
ROGERS.—On the 2nd December, 1930, Leslie Hymes, beloved youngest son of Mrs. S. Rogers, and the late Alfred Robert Rogers.
I heard the voice of Jesus say:
"Come unto Me and rest."
After having suffered severly from wounds since his return from the war, Mr. Leslie H. Rogers, of Abbotsford Road, Bowen Hills, died yesterday at the age of 35. The late Mr. Rogers was popular in insurance circles as well as amongst a large number of other friends. He was employed by the Commerical Union Insurance Co. Ltd., before the war, and afterwards was on the staff of the Royal Insuracen Company Ltd. During the war he was a Lieutenant in the 41st Battalion, A.I.F.
Mr. Rogers was married to Miss Doris Burrows, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. Burrows, of Bowen Hills.
He is survived by his widow and a daughter aged five. Mr. Rogers was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge, and of the Loyal Hope of the Valley Lodge, Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock this afternoon to the Toowong Cemetery.
