266 Victor Horace Edwards

266 Sergeant Victor Horace Edwards of Cottesloe enlisted on 19 October 1914 as a trumpeter with B Squadron, 10 Light Horse and embarked from Fremantle on HMAT 47 Mashobra on 17 February 1915. He arrived on Gallipoli on 1 August 1915, was evacuated in October and returned to duty in November. He was mentioned in despatches on 20 September and returned to Australia in advance of his unit on 29 April 1919.
