Son of George William WOODS and Maria WOODS nee WILLETTS, King Island, Tas.
Husband of Gladys Ellen WOODS
The death occurred suddenly at his home in Melbourne on Friday night of Mr. Frederick W. Woods, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Woods, who had lived on King Island since the early days of the century, only moved to Melbourne to reside early this year. A member of the first A.I.F., he was a limbless soldier - minus a leg. The late Mr. Woods carried out dairying at Pass River for many years, and latterly at Three Rivers. He was a keen supporter of the local race club for a considerable period. The late Mr. Woods is survived by a widow, and Mr. T.H. Woods, of Pegarah, is a brother.
