Eldest son of Alfred and Martha Boulton
Royston Sydney Boulton was born at Balmain South on December 23, 1897 the son of Alfred Sydney & Martha Boulton, nee Martha Johnston. Royston married Clare Jean (Betty) McCallum at Collaroy on May 3, 1923. He died in Berrima District Hospital on October 22, 1931 and was buried in Bowral Cemetery on October 23, 1931. He enlisted as "Roy" Sydney Boulton.

OBITUARY - R. S. Boulton
Following a lengthy illness, the death occurred at the Bowral district Hospital, this morning of Mr Royston Sydney Boulton, aged 32, whose widow was formerly Miss Betty McCallum, of Goulburn. He was the elder son of the late A. S. Boulton, of Killara, and saw active service during the Great War. Besides his widow, he is survived by four young children. The funeral will take place at Bowral at 2 p.m. to-morrow. - The Goulburn Evening Penny Post, issue dated Thursday October 22, 1931.
