Pte Ernest Charleston
From Wilmot Historic Museum
Today we honour Pte Ernest Charleston. We do not have a photograph of Ernest so if a family member has one we would love to be able to add it to our collection. He was 27 and half years old on enlistment. It is recorded his parents are deceased and eldest brother is listed as Albert Charleston of Wilmot. He answered the question on in or near what Parish or Town where you born as near the town of West Kentish.
