Frank Cowan Shirra , Step Brother of 762 Sergeant Edwin Thomas Thorsell KIA France 3rd Battle of Morlancourt 09 June 1918. 25th Infantry Battalion.
Their Mother was Agnes Shirra late of Balaclava Street Woollongabba Queensland.
Frank was awarded the British War Medal 1914-1918 and the Victory Medal for service in France 1918-1919. With the 4th Machine Gun Battalion AIF.
