"GRUNDY. — In sad and loving memory of my dear son and brother, Private Joseph W. Grundy, who was killed in action in. France, 3rd January, 1917; also my dear grandson and nephew, Private Hedley Grundy.

They gave their lives for the Empire." - from the North Western Advocate and the Emu Bay Times 23 Feb 1917 (nla.gov.au)
