Add my storyBiography
My Great Grandfather on my father's side. He served in the Boer War in the 3rd NSW Mounted Rifles No. 3340. He served in WW1 in the 4th Battalion as a Musketry Instructor at Sutton Veny in England. He had to return home during WW1 due to the death of his wife during childbirth, to sort out arrangements for his 6 children under 11 years of age. He re enlisted in 1919 in the Special Services Unit.
